We have a newly installed 2003 domain. We upgraded from a NT domain. We
currently have 9 offices all connecting through VPN using Cisco Pix. We have
one office on a frame relay and one on the local network.

Our problem is the VPN offices are having authenication problems. Not all
of them, just 3. The rest work fine. In the 3 I get a cannot find the
domain controller. 2 computers from one office can get on, but after that
two...nothing. It can also be two different machines. After the first
two...nada.

We are trying to put in another 2003 server for a secondary DNS but not sure
if this will help. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a limitation by PIX causing the issue or some other configuration on the PIX.
Another DNS will not resolve this type of problem. It appears to be ore configuration related
concerning the firewall or VPN concerntrator. Suggest you contact Cisco for assistance.

Gary
