When the editor declines a posting, what is the default page status? Is it
then locked by the author who originally edited it, or is it locked by the
editor? We just recently had a case where the editor declined a posting, but
the page status said it was locked by that editor and the author couldn't
re-edit the posting forcing the administrator to go in and save exit and
release the posting so the author could go back and edit it based on editor
feedback.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

the page status will be "Declined by Editor". The locking owner will be the
person who last modified the posting.
This can be either the editor himself if he modified the posting before he
declined it or it can be the author.

Cheers,
Stefan.
