I upgraded my Windows 2000 Server running HIS2000 to Windows Server
2003. I am attempting to upgrade from HIS2000 to HIS2004; however, when
running the HIS2004 CD, I receive a message:

Setup cannot continue because the features below are incompatible with
this version.
User Credential Database

I inspected the install log and it has the following:

Detected feature USER_CREDENTIAL_DATABASE (User Credential Database)
The feature is incompatible

Any help would be appreciated.

Spike,

See below

----

Existing Host Account Cache components are not upgraded when you install Host
Integration Server 2004 because of the change in the program model. You must
manually migrate the existing Host Account Cache components to the new
Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) model. However, because the Host Integration
Server 2004 Setup program does not modify the existing Host Account Cache
components, you may still be able to manually migrate to the Enterprise SSO
model even after you install Host Integration Server 2004.

For more information about manual migration to the Enterprise SSO model, see
"Installing Enterprise Single Sign-On" in Host Integration Server 2004 online
Help.

To download the latest product documentation for Host Integration 2004 Server,
visit the following Microsoft Web site:
