Getting started with APPC |
|
|
I work for an insurance information provider and need some help setting up a
program to communicate over lu 6.2/appc. The transaction itself is rather
simple, just open a connection, send the request as a string, and then wait
for a response.
I've been looking through the documentation for Host Integration Server 2004
for days now and I just can't find a single document that walks the user
through the creation of a TP. I've started a new transaction integration
project, but that's as far as I've gotten. I can't find any docs either on
exactly what the transaction integrator is for or how to use the designer.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks. |

Download and install the HIS SDK. You'll find lots of doco there on the
various API's and comms methods. Including sample code for appc comms with the
HIS server as the "client" or the "server" in the piece.
