HIS 2000 - using OLEDB for DB2 from ASP, ASP.NET |
|
|
Hi!
I am using OLEDB for DB2 to access DB2 on Z/OS (MVS).
I install end user client on the server A that runs IIS (ASP, ASP.NET) and
the HIS client connects to other server B that runs HIS 2000 Server.
When I run scripts interactively (vbs, exe) on the server B - it works fine,
but when I try to run ASP, ASP.NET on the server A it either gets stuck or
returns internal netlib error (-18).
I installed SP1 and 2 pre SP2 hotfixes - nothing helps
Any Ideas?
Thank U

Alik,
There is a specific Post SP1 hotfix that addresses this issue with the data
provider. You would be best advised to open an issue with our Support team
so that you can get the appropriate fix for this issue.

Hi Alik!
Where did you found the 2 pre SP2 hotfixes? Are they downloadable? We also
have problems with the OLEDB provider. Maybe it would fix it.....
Thank: Peter Tandi

Alik,
Hotfixes are only availalbe by opening a support issue with Microsoft
Support.
What is the problem that you are experiencing with the OLE DB provider?
