hi all,

as i quoted below, i wanted to apply this info to my SPS but i
couldn't find the proper place to give the permission.. May you tell
me how to do the following? from iis? from computer management? or
where else?

If by "SPS" you mean "SharePoint Portal Server 2003" then the newsgroup you
should post the message to is

microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver

Perhaps you could also make a text a bit clearer when you post there.

My suggestion would be that you start out with the message you are getting;
then what you are trying to do when you get the message and only finally ask
(after you've said those two things) how to correct the problem.

Also write a better Subject than "how" - try to give some idea of the
problem in the Subject line.
