The logical answer would be that you either don't have Word (or WordPad
which might be enough) installed on that client OR that you haven't linked
..doc files to one of those applications (which ought to be automatic).
The other possibility I suppose is that you are running an "odd" client (NT
Workstation?) there, but even so wih Word correctly installed that shouldn't
be a problem.
(I.e. I'm out of specifically STS ideas).
