Re: NT Backup of CompanyWeb |

Companyweb is in SBS 2003.
SBS 2003 contains Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)
Unfortunately this is not the newsgroup for WSS but for the earlier product
SharePoint Team Services (STS).
You'll find the WSS newsgroup at microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices
Please post there.
(Note that you can't just use NT Backup as you write because all you will be
saving are the files the installation routine puts on the server. All the
rest is stored in the SQL Server database. But please post to the WSS
newsgroup unless you have a question that is specifically about the SBS
implementation of WSS in which case please post to
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs))

internal web service needs.
Could we use NT Backup to just backup the c:\inetpub\companyweb folder on
the server for disaster recovery?
We want to be able to restore the comanyweb internal site in its entirety
in
case the site becomes corrupt or the server dies.
Any ideas?
