Re: Using SharePoint 2003 with Other databases? |

This is the newsgroup for SharePoint Team Services which is a product that
came out in 2001.
The SharePoint products that came out in 2003 with their newsgroups are
Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)
microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices
SharePoint Portal Server 2003 (SPS 2003)
microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver
Please post to the newsgroup for the product you are asking about.
----------
Note that both may be used to *display* data from an Oracle database (via a
web part) but must use SQL Server 2K to store their own data - both setup
and content.

I'd love to know if SharePoint 2003 can be used with other databases
(Oracle...) other than MS SQL server 2000?
My company is using Oracle and they want to use SharePoint Portal and
Services. I am not certain about this.
Please help.
Thank you,
