You can create a cluster with 3 nics without issue. Whether or not your DB
will work in the event of disaster...well, good luck with that ;-)

I will have a 2 node cluster that is connected to a SAN. The SAN holds
the database. What I would like to do is have 3 network cards on both
server members of the cluster. NIC1 will be a crossover cable for the
heartbeat, NIC2 will be on the domain, the public network. NIC3 will
be a 3rd private network connected by gigabit to a server in a
different building. This network will copy all the data from the
database to this server. That way if building 1 blows up, I can run
the database from building 2 so building 2 can keep working.
Does this sound like it will work? I read the articles here:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.server.clustering/browse_frm/thread/9ab5b03c30af2e93/a5014adebca0abe4#a5014adebca0abe4
but I am still vague on this point.
Thanks in Advance.
