Maram:
Within SPS you cannot restore an individual document library. You must
restore the entire portal, or alternatively, restore the portal to a second
instance (server) and copy the document library over. Within Team Sites
(i.e. WSS) you can restore individual sites using stsadmin.exe. See this
chapter from the MS website for further information.

It should be noted that any site in SPS is really a WSS site, so you can |
backup and restore any site. Renaud Compte has made available a Granular
Backup Utility that provides a GUI interface to STSadmin and makes the
process much less fraught with tension. See the following site:
