We don't like the default subject line in MOM's notification e-mails
;-). I know I can change it for each notification in "alert rule
properties", but I want to modify the default setting from "Operations
Manager $Severity$ Alert on $Domain$\$Computer$" to something shorter.

Is it possible to modify the default setting?

Thanks,
Stefan

Yep. Load up Enterprise Manager and connect to your MOM DB Server. There's a
Onepoint DB in there. I forget the exact name of hte table, but it's called
Config, Configuration, or something similiar. There is a row in there for
EmailSubject. Just edit that.

You can change the defaults for the notifications in the admin console, go
to the bottom of tree, think it's global settings (Sorry at home and not at
work). Under the notifications section you can edit it there.
