Hi,

I have an environment like this: Commerce Server 2002 with
FP1, CMS 2002 with SP1a, SQL Server 2000. These are all
installed on the same machine. I separate the SQL Server
to another machine. There is no problem with CMS, but
there is an authorization problem with CS. The problem is
I must give some rights to local ASPNET account in the SQL
Server, but since all machines are in a domain, the SQL
Server does not accept a local account for giving rights.
Do you have any idea about setting the rights of a CS site
with a remote SQL Server?

Thanks in advance

Abdullah,

if you have setup your infrastructure in an Active Directory domain,
you should have a domain level ASPNet account. This the context that
your webservers should be running in, and you will need to grant
access to in your SQL database.

HTH.
