Hi I have a situation where a customer requires two or more users to access
a single client computer.

The 1st user account is working fine - logs on - Outlook 2003 works fine
etc.

The 2nd user account has problems - logs on - the settings seem to be lost
each time for the desktop etc - Outlook 2003 has lost its settings and has
to
be re-configured each time.

To restrict the 2nd user I have it setup as a Guest account - could this be
the problem ?

Or is there something else I'm doing wrong.

Regards

I never use the Guest account - Leave it disabled.
License the PC under a Device License SBS CAL and anyone who logs on is
covered.
Then Create Users for each person logging on and assign them to that
computer.

The "guest" account is the problem - it's limited and users can't make
changes to it. Leave "guest" *disabled* anyplace you find it.

Set up a regular domain account for this user - and if you use roaming
profiles (I do; I like them even if users don't roam as it makes workstation
replacement a lot easier), make sure you set up the profile path on the
server properly in the account settings.
