2000 to 2003 Server Upgrade - now getting an error msg |

I upgraded a Windows 2000 Server to 2003, now the IAS (Internet
Authentication Service) won't start. I get the following error message:
Could not start the IAS service on local computer. Error 0x8007007f: the
specified procedure could not be found. |

I have forgotten the details but I believe there is
a need for some ISA 2000 Hotfixes/SPacks in this
situation.
Try searching the MS site/ISA updates or asking
on the ISA list if no one posts the specifics.

This is for Internet Authentication Service NOT ISA. Please HELP.

Hello,
Thanks for your posting here.
Please try the following steps.
1. Expand dnary.mdb, ias.mdb files from Windows 2003 CD to the
c:\winnt\system\ias folder
2. Expand Oledb32r.dll, oledb32.dll files to c:\program files\common
files\system\ole db\
3. Reregister the dll's using the following command being in the directory
regsvr32 oledb32.dll
regsvr32 oledb32r.dll
4. Reboot the box
