Hi,
How do you configure Windows Messenger 5.1 to use LCS.
Thanks |

You have to go into the options of WM5.1 and change it from Exchange
messaging, or .NET messaging to use the SIP messaging. Then you have to
put in the address of the LCS server, or if LCS was setup in the DNS,
you can choose automatic. The latest version of WM5.1 doesn't seem to
have an option for SIP though. At least it doesn't for me...that could
be because I have communicator installed though...dunno. |

If you have Communicator installed, Windows Messenger will no longer
give you the option of connecting via SIP. Communicator doesn't like to
share, apparently. |
