Hello,

I have copied the user certificate template to use as a template for
WirelessUsers. When I go to select the certificate as a 'Certificate
Template to Issue' it does not show up in the list. I have set the template
to be published in Active Directory, and there is only the one domain
controller so it shouldn't be replicating.

Could anyone tell me why it will not show up in the template list?

Thanks,
Brandon

Hi Brandon,

Once you copy (duplicate) existing template you get version 2 template.
Version 2 templates can then only be used to issue certificates on CA server
running on Enterprise Edition (EE) of Windows 2003 Server.

Is your CA server installed on EE of Windows 2003 Server or is it Standard
Edition?
