HELP !! Removed LCS server drive where logging was taking pl |
|
|
Basically logging used to be to folder on S drive
Can't add another drive/partition and make S drive (long story :))
LCS refuses to start get following errors ...
1) Initialize failure. Failed to initialize the Data Store component. Make
sure the mssql$rtc service is started. (service IS started)
2) Unable to initialize the registration component, error code is:0xc070000b
(Initialize failure. Failed to initialize the Data Store component. Make
sure the mssqlc070000b service is started.). The service has to stop.
How can i move location where logging takes place so server starts up again,
can't find setting anywhere
still have the original log folders (LCSData and LCSLog) holding
"rtc_v1.mdf" and "rtc_v1.ldf" files
Thanks |

Is this LCS2003?
Looks like the server is uanble to connect to he backend datase....make sure
the mssql$rtc service is running....
You might to use appropriately reset/reattach the database data and log
location and start the database....
you can use the SQL enterprise manager for this purpose..

Also if you have a recent backup, you can use the MOVE option to restore
data and log files to different drives.
