I need to install Mcafee Viruscan 7.1 on my Windows 2003 servers, on a two
node cluster, active/passive.

Do I need to install the anti-virus(or other applications) in a certain
sequence (active node first?)
Should I take one of the nodes 'offiline' before installing applications on
servers which are clustered ?

No, you should be able to perform your AV install as normal.

Ryan is correct, I might add that you want to exclude the MSCS directory.

Cheers,
