Re: MOM to HP OVO Connector Problems #2 |

Frederico - you mentioned below that you added the MOM Server to the Nodes
list. What server was the alert that you forwarded to HP OVO associated to?
Was it also the MOM server? If not make sure you add that node as well to
the Nodes list. since you are getting the HP OVO id back from HP OVO you
seem to be very close to getting this to work

The right description is the following one:
I have a problem with the configuration of MOM to HP OVO Connector.
On the OVO server I installed OVI and the Event Consumer.
On the MOM server I installed the Product Connector.
Everything seems to work from the MOM side because I can see on the MOM
Operator Console that the alert is sent to OVO and gets back the HP
Operations ID.
And in the OVO server, in the OviMom_out.log log file, I can see that the
alarm present in the MOM Operator Console, has been stored.
Since here all ok.
The problem I have is that I can't see the alarm in the OVO Console.
Of course:
1) I delpoyed on the OVO Server the MOM-opcmsg policy
2) I added the MOM Server to the Nodes List
The problem seems to be that the OVO Console ( and/or the Event Consumer
and/or OVI ) can't read the alarms received from MOM (or maybe they are
not
received at all ) even if they are stored in the OviMom_out.log log file.
Someone cal help me ?
Thank you in advance and sorry again for bothering. |
