I'm trying to install LCS 2005 wit SP1 on a Windows 2003 server. I'm
installing the service on a seperate machine from SQL Server. Therfore, the
LCS 2005 is on machine A and the SQL Database is on machine B. I continue to
get the followng message below:

Script Command Line: cscript.exe //U
"F:\ENGLISH\LCS2005\ENT_WITH_SP1\SETUP\I386\dbsetup\dbsetup.wsf" /dbexists
/sqlserver:"B"
/sqlfilepath:"F:\ENGLISH\LCS2005\ENT_WITH_SP1\SETUP\I386\dbsetup"
Script Output: Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.6
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1996-2001. All rights reserved.

F:\ENGLISH\LCS2005\ENT_WITH_SP1\SETUP\I386\dbsetup\dbsetup.wsf(429, 6)
WScript.CreateObject: Could not locate automation class named
"SQLDMO.SQLServer".

Failure
[0xC3EC783C] An error occurred while running DB script.

This error appears when creating the Pool Backend.

Do I have to have SQL installed on the LCS server to install? The Database
server is on a seperate machine.

Thanks

It sounds like you need at least SQL Client Tools installed. SQLDMO gets
installed with them.

Hi, I have the same problem but it tells me that the DB doesn't exist.
