Just bought my first server which has Small Business Server 2003. We have 2 computers with XP Pro, 2 with XP Media Center and 1 with XP Home that will be upgraded to XP Pro.

Are there issues with XP Media Center? I did a quick internet search and see that XP Media Center cannot log on to domains. Given this is my first server, I do not have a good understanding of what this specifically means and what drawbacks this may have.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Hey Andrew,

XP Media Center is basically XP Home on steriods. You can however convert it so that it will allow you to login to a domain but you are going to have to look under the Microsoft forum on www.dslreports.com
