EVENT ID 2019 ANSWER FINALLY! |
|
|
Event ID: 2019
The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because
the pool was empty.
I finally found out what was eating up the nonpaged pool. My server
was rebooting randomly for weeks. Then more often with a brand new
server to which I transferred all the data.
I tried poolmon.exe and perfmon to try to figure it out. But what did
it was actually being at the server when it randomly began to get hosed
up. In the Processes Tab of Task Manager, add the Non Paged Pool
column. Monitor what is using up the non paged pool. It may take hours
before anything turns up. Most processes use less than 100 K of non
paged pool. In this case, the crypserve.exe (installed with MatchCAD
with the license service software) began using up over 200 megs of non
paged pool.
The network connection dropped. The shares could no longer be
accessed. On the server, I could not view the shares in Computer
Management. I received an RPC error. I saw that crypserve.exe was
using up over 200 megs of the non paged pool. I killed the process and
the server began working normally again. The crypserve.exe was running
as a service. I stopped and disabled the service.
I hope this helps. I see hundreds of people looking for a solution to
this issue.

Another Event ID 2019 Case |
|
|
Its been 5 days that I try to solve my Event ID 2019 case. I have been to hundrends of sites and forums and followed most suggestions to solve the problem. All people cases have the common behaviour:
Their system works for 30 minutes up to 4 hours and either it reboots exausted of resources, or running programs and network/Internet access stop. Even ctrl-alt-del gives error:
Windows - Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000017). Click on OK to terminate the application.
and of course the famous error:
The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the pool was empty.
I realised that the causes might be many. 99% atributed to Driver/Software cases. Unfortunately the few people that offered solution was just one case, helpful enough for those that had the exact reason for the problematic situation.
I would like to offer just another solution to my specific cause of the problem. In my case the problem was caused from the faulty driver of the Mobile Action (http://global.mobileaction.com/) MA-720 Bluetooth Data Suite. The Driver is MaRdP2K.sys 25/3/2004 1.1.1.9. No new driver is made by the manufacturer and when the Bluetooth dongle connects to my Win XP Pro SP2 server it takes 3-4 hours to make it into a stop. I removed the Bluetooth dongle and will use it for the few minutes I need it.
Hope this helps,
