Help!
I installed the Network Connectivity Hotfix from MS, 898060. After install it required a reboot. It made it to Preparing Networks Connections, then rebooted and would continue to do this. Tried to boot to SafeMode and it would make it most of the way and then reboot. Tried Last Known, and can get it boot up, but nothing is working. No DNS, no DHCP, no AD. I've run a full scan with Norton and it found w32.Sober.0@mm and quartantined all that it found. I went into add/remove to try to find and remove the Hotfix, but it is not there to remove. I downloaded the Norton SObe removal tool and will be running it this morning.
When I try to start DNS in services, I get an error 14, that there is not enough storage to complete the operation. When I try to start DHCP in services, I get that it started and then stopped with no explanation.
Event Viewer, I'm getting DNS ID 408, 406, NTDS General Global Category 1126, Service Control 1394, Internal Processing 1168, NTDS LDAP Interface 1238, DHCP 1008, 1006 and security audit fails 537.
The server is not able to get on the internet.
Anyone have any ideas? Please post.
