I have a need to be notified when a server is hung, but still replies to a
Ping. I have a script that pings all our servers, but when a server is hung
it still replies to pings; however, users cannot connect to shares and you
cannot RDP to the server.
Has anyone else written a script to detect connectivity to a share or to
RDP or to anything else that can alert me that a server is hung?
