Hi,
I want to move a site from one portal to another

ie. http://portal1/sites/sitename to
http://portal2/sites/sitename

has anybody tried this and if so, how do you recommend doing it? I think the
link below should do what I want but please let me know if I've got the wrong
idea.

We would use stsadm for this move, just like the link below explains.
