I have users that don't have Office (any version) installed, is it still
possible to use the check in / check out functionality in a document
library?

Also, is it possible to use the check in / check out functionality in a
document library in firefox (or any non-IE browser)?

Hi Irwin,

You need Office 2003 for check in/out functionality.

And no, it doesn't work with non-IE browsers (I just tried FireFox 1.0).

I might be wrong but I think Office XP should be able to do Check In / Out
too (as it could in STS?).
