User: N/A
Computer: SCASV02
Description:
Microsoft Clustering Service suffered an unexpected fatal error at line 597

The system partition is NTFS(C: drive). However its a Compaq server set up
with compaq smart start CD. So compaq creates a small (40mb) partition with
fat32 to store the compaq system files. The quorum partion I have to check.

OK, NTFS is where you should be. So, are you still getting the same error?

Did you try uninstalling the latest security patches?

Hi, Should I remove the latest security patches? I never had problems with
security patches. Could this be the reason?

Well, if the last thing you did was apply security patches and then your
cluster broke, it certainly sounds reasonable to try removing security
patches and see if the problem remains.

Security patches are like any other update...you should test thoroughly
before implementing into your production environment.

John

It works. I had to romove many updates. So I could not figure out which was
the particular one which caused the problem.

Thanks a lot.
