Blake suggested in response to an earlier question to realize the event
forwarding from MOM to HP OV using an OVO agent instead of the MOM Connector
Framework (MCF) - (Thank you for that hint!).

How can such a solution be realized in detail? Does there exist a certain
logfile written by MOM that can be read by the agent in order to produce the
needed OVO-messages? Has someone more information about such a logfile source
for event information? Or does this work in a different way?

What are the pros&cons of using MCF or an OVO agent?

Or is it also possible to use simple SNMP-Trap forewarding if supported by
MOM?

Cheers,
Dirk
