Newbie question so apologies in advance...
How would I go about retrieving content data from other database platforms
such as DB2, ORACLE and MySQL? I know this is an opend-ended question but I'm
looking for a range of suggestions.

The only thing I've seen on this is

which is restricted to accessing Oracle.
