Arun,

Can you telnet to port 1270 on the management server from the manually
installed agent? Is there any kind of firewall between the management
server and these workgroup servers where you are installing the agent?

Regards,

David Tyra

Hello,

Thank you for your posting!

Did you enable Manual Agent installation in the Administrator Console Yet?
You can configure it in Global Settings, Management Server or in the
specified Management Server properties.
After that configuration, Install the Agent on that client machine, and you
need to appove the manual installation in "Pending Action"

If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.
