Windows 2000 can't resolve names of computers in a secondary network. This
is my configuration:

- Windows 2000 Advanced Server
- 1 NIC
- Main IP: 10.1.X.X
- Secondary: 192.168.0.100
- Default gateway: 192.168.0.1
- Default DNS: 192.168.0.1

I have DNS installed but I haven't WINS.

Any ideas other than adding the static ip address to HOSTS file?
Thanks!

Add host (CNAME for a different domain) records in DNS.

Do you have DNS and DHCP advertising service on both addresses? You can let
the server host those services from both IP addresses, this would let your
other network use your dns service and be able to browse the network by name.
You can check in the DNS console, on the properties of the DNS server.
