Is it Possible to program windows application through to acces sharepoint and
add documnets to document library etc. ?

Hello Raja,

Sure, you have lot's of options. If the windows application is located on
the SharePoint machine you could use the SharePoint object model. If it's
remote you can use the sharepoint web service API. Both are well documented
on MSDN. And if you want to add documents to document libraries probably
you're best off using FrontPage RPC over HTTP. Look for an application called
SharePad to find examples about that.
