Hi all,

I am trying to install LCS 2005 on a machine that is a secondary domain
controller for a network running on SBS 2003 (primary). Everything installed
fine, but when I go to activate the server I get:-

Warning
[0x03EC782C] Server activation succeeded, but unable to start service.
Possible cause is newly created AD objects haven't replicated. Please check
application event log for more detail.

I am enabling the Archiving Service (already installed the server & MSMQ).

Any ideas?

Looks like the AD objects created during the forest and domain prep
portions of the install haven't replicated to your other DC yet. Try
firing off a replication in AD Sites and Services. If you need help
doing so let me know.
