Dear all

Now my office upgrade from LCS 2003 is LCS2005 SP1
In local office clients can connect Windows Messenger 5.1
with LCS 2005 SP1.
but branch office Network link from router can not connect
Windows Messenger 5.1 to LCS 2005 SP1.

Please suggest me . How to config on LCS 2005 SP1

It's about federation yes or No

Best regards
Bob

It isn't about federation if all the users are in the same AD forest.

Please explain the topology more - it isn't clear to me yet what you are
dealing with. You have an office with LCS 2005 SP1 (recently upgraded from
LCS 2003), but what is the problem with the branch-office? Are you just
saying that the clients in that office fail to connect to the server in the
main office? If this is the case, are the clients using automatic
configuration? If you enable logging on the clients (via the registry) then
you can see where the client is failing.

Also verify the firewall between the front end and your branch office allow
5060 (unecrypted) and / or 5061 (encrypted). Another tip I found with
Communicator is if there is not WINS resolution try using
domain.domain.com\user instead of domain\user for the login.
