Hi,

I'm trying to migrate a load of printers from a 2k domain to a brand
new 2k3 domain. Creating a backup with printmig 3.1 went just fine but
when I try to restore the printers printmig tells me that

"kernel mode drivers (version 2) are blocked on the target machine"

Now I've read that I can temporarily deblock such drivers but I seem to
recall that running kernel mode drivers on windows 2003 isn't such a
good idea.

Is it possible to do a partial backup/restore and exclude those
drivers?

Hi,

For such issue, I'd like to suggest you contact printer manufacture for
assistance about the driver which is compatible with Windows 2003. I'm
afraid there is no such method to backup/restore and exclude those drivers.

Best regards,
