Hi.
This is a general question. OrderformCollection can have multiple
OrderForms. 0 (default) is for basket what can other ordrforms (1 to don’t
know the max limit for the collection) be used for e.g.
CurrentBasket.OrderForms[“default”] -- is the basket
CurrentBasket.OrderForms[1]
CurrentBasket.OrderForms[2].. etc
Thanks

I have never made use of multiple OrderForms per Basket in the solutions
I've developed. My best guess has always been that you might use it to
support something like a cybermall, maybe with a separate OrderForm for each
cyberstore, but a common Basket so the shoppers can see their total
expenditure. But that's just a guess.

Hi MJ,

The use is pretty open but I've had cases where it was helpfull.
1. Vendor specific catalogs and the store did back-to-back ordering. BY
being able to store verndor specific items in different orderforms, it was
simpler to split the orders into individual orders for vendors and pass them
on.

2. Single customer requiring shipping to different addresses in a single
order. In this case we had different warehouses assigned to different cities
or such where based on the warehouse we could store relevant information in
the orderforms and despatch them to different warehouses for despatch.

This is just an idea :) In an organization with multiple offices but a
centralized purchase, one could implement a requisition process on site
(using the partner bits & organization profile and templates /w lots of
custom order_status_codes :) and acheive a single point authorization &
billing but different despatch destinations (similar to multiple shipment)
where orderforms could come in helpfull.
