There was a product from eDial that would allow you to connect a Windows 98
client to LCS. It was a pretty good product. From what I can tell, it
appears that eDial has pulled this client and the server client.
I will refrain from making nasty comments about the company that purchased
eDial...but I am still rattled about that empty building in Raleigh, just
south of 440 on Wake Forest.
There is a Microsoft web-based client in development. While this client has
briefly been mentioned in this newsgroup, there is no official information
regarding it. It may work with Windows 98.
Other than that...many folks still use Windows 98, but it is 3 versions old
(yes, I am reluctantly counting Windows Me), and over 7 years old. ...thus,
there is not much out there being developed for it.

I believe the web client will work with Win98 as long as you have an updated
version of IE running.

It has not been released yet...it is still in development. Expectations are
that it will be out in the next few months, but I haven't been given a firm
date.
