NLB |
|
|
I have two exchange 2003 front end servers running on Windows Server 2003 and
configured on a NLB cluster. I recently configured the internet access but
when I try to browse the internet or update my anti virus software, it is not
possible to do so.
Is there anything in special that I need to configure in order to be able to
access internet on this servers.
Another question that I have is the following. When I'm going to configure
de NAT from the public IP Address that the MX record is register to, the NAT
should be configure to the NLB cluster IP addres?
Regards,

Have you opened up outbound traffic? Can any one else browse the web from |
that subnet?

DNS would be one. The correct default gateway. It may sound basic, but |
networking guys do some funny things sometimes.

I feel your pain, do what I do. 1) Blame the firewall. 2) Blame DNS. 3)
Blame someone else. These always work for me and has for years now.
Seriously, check your settings and network for the 3 items above. Please
post back what the issue was or ask more question :)
Cheers,
Rod
