There should be more info in the BSOD than that - a device driver file name,
perhaps?
What kind of backup device are you using, and have you gotten the latest
drivers from the manufacturer (not Microsoft)? |

hi, i havent seen any more info as the server blue screened and restarted
itself and then i looked in even viewer and only this stop code was there. i
am using NT backup on Sony Ait2 tape device but the server blue screens even
when backing up to the disk so tape unit isn't even involved. thanks

Change that - control panel, system, advanced - you don't want the server to
restart til you've read the BSOD info, I think.

Check your event logs for clues.

I would check the hard disks. run CHKDSK /F /R and see if the disk has any
error, your tape may have hard time read/write the disk.
