Hi,

I have got a cluster (2 nodes) windows server 2003 Sp1 for exchange 2003 sp1
and file server ressources. Sometimes, one of twice nodes get stuck (totaly
freeze/Block). On screen, I have got just background server with the mouse
pointer. I can't do nothing to unblock (ctrl-alt-del, enter, etc...). After
that, I must switch off the server physicalllly.

Whats happpen??? Please, help me.

Well, I find that in other post:
---------------------------------
It sounds like you had what Microsoft calls a "soft hang". We had a similiar
issue a couple years back, it turned out to be a Veritas Netbackup issue
relating to Open File Manager - OTMAN.

---------------------------------
I have got OFM 9.1 on the two servers. I use it with HP Data Protector 5.1.

Have you any idea about this m.... Open file backup 9.1 and windows server
2003 sp1????

Thanks, Regards.

we can ping the active node (by cluster name & ip address and by it's own
hostname and IP address)but we can't access file shares. I can't acces it
by
terminal console, by kvm or directly on the server. Any ressources
(Exchange
or File server) on this server don't working and still hang. The server
keep
the ressource. We have to hard-power down the active node to get the
resources to fail over to the inactive node. There is no information
about
what happens in any of the event logs, only entries related to hard
restarting the server.

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

Are you on a KVM? What do you do to troubleshoot the problem?
