Marc,

What link service have you configured? 802.2 DLC over a LAN, SDLC over an
SDLC card?

If 802.2 then are you sure you have DLC bound against the correct NIC that's
facing your mainframe?

If 802.2 then are there any routers between you and the mainframe? Routers
don't bridge/tunnel SNA traffic without special configuration.

What state does the connection go into? Pending?

What error(s) appear in the application event log for the connection/SNA in
general? Even if it's as generic as a "no reply from host" type time-out then
there will be an event logged to this effect.

What sort of host are you connecting to? OS390/Z-Series or AS400/i-series?

If you could come back with some more information regarding the above, error
messages seen, what config you've tried etc. we can help further.

At the moment it's a bit like walking into a garage and saying "my wife says
the car doesn't work. No I haven't brought it with me. No she gave me no more
information than that. But could you tell me what's wrong with it?"
