Re: RUI Write error from SNA Client |

Mahesh,
What version of SNA Client is running on the NT4 client? If it doesn't have
SP4 applied to the client then apply it.
Even better, HIS2000 SP2 client works on NT4 and has the advantage of being
supported (SNA4 isn't) so you could try that.
Ultimately going to HIS2004 on client and server (NT4 not supported though) is
the best position to be in regarding support, debugging and fixes.
But anyway, what is the client running? Is it a home-grown RUI app? Has this
problem always occured? Possible network issues between client<>server or
server<>mainframe?
I'd say open a case with MS PSS and send them the traces, but given the
non-support status on SNA4, it's probable you wouldn't be able to do that
unfortunately.

I get intermittent RUI Write error when I send transaction from client for
mainframe. From the API trace the RUI Write Respinse is Unsuccessful
Direction.
Any help to resolve this issue is highly appreciatedd.
