I have been very busy with production exchange issues, and wanted to know for all the vets running MOM 2005 in production if it's possible to create a custom management pack and custom view for that management pack.

I assume it's possible, but I just wanted to get some sort of confirmation from the vets.

TIA

Hi,

The first step is to download the MOM 2005 resources kit.

There is a Management Pack Wizard that will help you to create a simple management pack for monitoring services, simple events and performance counters.

After running the wizard, import your management pack into MOM and associate-it with a computer group.

Views are easy to create from the operator console. Right click public views, select new view and follow the wizard.
