I am getting the following error with the MBSA download
on only a couple of the servers within my Management
group (several working fine).
Event Number: 22098
The agent [DOMAIN]\[SERVERNAME] could not add remote
file: http://[SOURCE SERVERNAME]/MBSA\mssecure.cab, local
file: E:\Server\apps\MOM2005\Downloaded
Files\Pru_PROD\mssecure.cab to BITS job
MOM_File_Transfer_Job_Pru_PROD{F3A8429D-62B1-439E-9C43-
163FB787723D}. Error description: Access is denied.
[] are the depersonalised values for domain and server
names.
Auditing is on on both the source and destination file
system but is not showing any audit problems.
There was an associated error initialising the DCOM
service - so I have already granted permissions to the
service used to run the MOM Agebt locally, to Launch the
process and this error is no longer being generated.
Still getting the fundamental error though... I think the
next port of call is to look at registry permissions (as
we have a level of 'hardening' but can anyone shed any
light on where I should be looking/start?
