DFS and quotas |
|
|
I'm relatively new to using DFS. I've setup a users home area on a DFS
machine, and synced up two servers, with different hardware specs.
I'd like to restrict the home area to a quota of 5GB. Is this something I
can do with DFS itself? If not, do I have to apply quotas to the disk on
both servers for that user?
Cheers,
Adrian |

Hi Adrian,
DFS has no way of enforcing quotas. You'll have to make sure that the quotas
are the same on both servers.
For details about DFS, see www.microsoft.com/dfs.
