I have two locations 185.2.1.x and 185.2.2.x. I need to have the sbs2003
control both subnets. The server is on the 185.2.1.x network. When I try to
add a client PC from the 185.2.2.x network, I get a Forbidden- IP address of
the client has been rejected. The locations are connected via T1 and two
cisco routers each with the route to the other subnet.
I know the 185.x.x.x is not recommended, but it was in place long before me.

Suggestions?

Hello,

I understand the issue to be as follows:

When you trying to access the SBS IIS sites from the 185.2.2.x network,
you're not able to do so. If I misunderstood your concern, please do let me
know.

It seems that the IIS server has rejected your IP address and I'd like to
provide the following suggestion to you:

1. Open IIS console.
2. Navigate to Default Web Site\ConnectComputer
3. Right click ConnectComputer and click Properties.
4. Click Directory Security tab.
5. Click Edit under "IP address and domain name restrictions".
6. Click Add to add 185.2.2.x subnet.
7. Test the issue again.

I hope the above info helps.

Have a nice day!
