I have tried to set up VPN access on my SBS 2003 server but I am getting an
Error 721 when I try to log in. What do I do, most of the how to and
newsgroup posts I find are a little over my head as I'm new in the SBS
areana. Thank you for your help

Hi Pete,

I have written a document about this 721 issue:

Smallbizserver.Net > SBS 2000 > Remote Access > I get error 721, why is
that?:
http://www.smallbizserver.net/Default.aspx?tabid=131

Take a look there and if you more questions post them in the newsgroup.

You don't enable that on the server. It is only done on the router.

You don't enable that on the server. It is only done on the router.

Some routers (e.g. Netgear DG834) don't have an explicit GRE enable, but

do list the PPTP 'service' which includes port 1723 and GRE.
