Access denied to imported drive -NTFS- |

When a second drive has no NTFS permissions given to built-in accounts, and
then a clean install is performed, how do you get access to the second
drive ?. Access is denied |

You need to take ownership....this is written for W2k, but should help.

You have to go to the drive in explorer, select it, then go to Security,
then click on "Advanced" then click on the "Owner" tab then select the
"Administrator" account and then check the box that says "Replace owner
on subcontainers and objects" then click on OK. This will start the
proccess of taking ownership. Once you have ownership of the drive and
its files then you can add permisions for the administrator account to
have full access.

Logged on as the local admin or domain admin there is no security tab on the
property sheet, and it is an NTFS drive.
I am going to see if it will let me perform a backup with a member of the
backup operators group, and then restore without security.
