When I try to use the ConnectComputer method of connecting workstations to
the server I get an error 403 forbidden message, I am able to join the
domain the old fashioned way, does it matter is there a difference? If so
wht can I not use the ConnectComputer method.

File and print sharing enabled in the XP SP2 firewall? Trusted
internet zones includes the server ip?
